Conquering the Floral Fury: Lily & Lyleen
Lily & Lyleen are the second boss duo you’ll encounter in Palworld. This guide will help you overcome their plant-powered attacks and secure victory.
Understanding the Fight
Location: Free Pal Alliance Tower (185, 28)
Challenge Requirement: 69K damage within ten minutes
Boss Types
Lily: Human trainer with various plant-based attacks and traps
Lyleen: Grass-type Pal with powerful vine and poison attacks
Recommended Pal Team
To counter Lily & Lyleen’s strengths, consider these Pal types:
- Arsox (Fire): Boasting a fantastic moveset and great stats, Arsox is a great choice against Lily and Lyleen
- Foxsparks (Fire): This early Pal holds up surprisingly well with good leveling and a bit of attention, and is one of the only Pals where carrying them during a boss fight (at least for portions) is a valid strategy
- Bushi (Fire): The Alpha Bushi is on a starting island to the west of the Isle of Beginners, and has fantastic combat stats
- Kitsun (Fire): These Pals are found conveniently next to Lily and Lyleen’s tower; good, since they are so effective against them
- Vanwyrm (Fire/Dragon): Found near where you can catch the alpha Bushi, Vanwyrm is a great choice against Lily and Lyleen
For these Pals, moves like Spirit Fire or Flare Arrow are recommended to quickly whittle down Lily and her Lyleen. Fire-type Pals will also resist Lyleen’s Grass attacks, allowing them to easily tank hits and giving you room to fire away at Lyleen while it’s distracted trying to wear down your Pal.
Remember, the effectiveness of these Pals and their moves can vary depending on the situation and the opponent’s type. Always consider the type matchups and the specific situation when choosing which Pal and move to use.

- Target Lyleen First: Lyleen is the primary threat due to its powerful attacks. Focus fire on it while dodging Lily’s attacks.
- Heal Often: Poison can be detrimental, so keep your Pals’ health topped up.
